The Ordinary People On The Streets Are My Constituency- Barr. George Ogara

Barr. George Ogara

The governorship candidate of Enugu State under the platform of All Progressives Congress, APC, Barr. George Ogara Tabugbo has stated that his constituents are the ordinary people on the streets.

He made this known to Newsmen on Thursday 4th of October shortly after he was declared winner of the APC governorship direct primaries held in the 260 wards in 17 local government areas of the state. “Enugu State is about to be liberated, and the ordinary people on the streets are my constituency”, he said.

His statement clearly indicates that he will run an inclusive government where everyone in the state will be carried alone. A government that respects human rights. The poor, the rich, equal… The urban, the rural, equal… The male, the female, equal…

Although, this might be expected from a renowned lawyer, but Barr. Ogara’s zeal for justice is a cronic addiction. This is evident from his past records in the state and beyond, including his role as the APC lawyer over the years in the region.

The ordinary people on the streets are the unemployed graduates seeking the present government uncreated jobs.
The ordinary people on the streets are those creative, innovative and entrepreneurial youths seeking for someone to buy their lucrative ideas.

They are the farmers, students, market men and women, peace loving citizens and lovers of democracy. Barr. George Ogara also thanked everyone who ensured that the people’s mandate was not truncated by the opposition elements as was planned.

However, in a parallel primaries organized by a faction, Senator Ayogu Eze who recently decamped from PDP was announced winner of the ‘arranged ‘election’.

The ball is now on the court of the National Leadership of the party to affirm the true winner. As at press time, the National Working Committee, NWC of the party is yet to make any comment on the development.
